A series of stories interwoven into an immersive encounter. Both nostalgic yet unfamiliar – Afar, Extrait de Parfum, transports you to distant lands through the conjuring of moments, both real and imagined.
An intuition led, extrait strenght perfume based on three chapters of the author’s life. The complex dry down invites the wearer to immerse in a dance between nostalgia and the unknown; a delicate veil between belonging and longing.
The home between two worlds
Astretch far into the ether, Afar leaves a lingering embrace of familiarity.
“In a dream-like recollection of an unfamiliar world that somehow feels like home, Afar creates a sense of wonder that delicately belongs to everyone. The chasm between perception and memory.” Natasha, founder& formulator
Composition
Afar’s composition is based on an overdose of Cedars; imbuing its scent with the spiritual qualities of the revered wood. Cedar Lebanon, Cyprus Bark and Sandalwood join together with a generous dose of Agar Wood to envelope the base of the perfume and instil warm, grounding qualities.Frankincense, Vetiver and Oakmoss weave ancient references and encounters through the precious oils.
The central creamy accord elegantly marries Jasmine Tea and Jasmine Absolute with rare petals of a Turkish rose. The musky resinous notes of Vanilla Absolute and Linden Blossoms are lifted by delicate Yuzu and Bergamot rind, whilst Neroli petals float through the smoke of freshly brewed tea leaves.
Afar’s delicate spicy undertones emanate a sense of warmth and nostalgia, a skin scent filled with wistful, yet renewing energy.
